"I rented a room at this hotel because of price compared to other hotels in the immediate area. This past weekend I was invited to attend a wedding ceremony and reception in the Wilmington, DE area which is about 2 hours away from my home. So, instead of driving back after the reception (at 9pm), I opted to rent a room. Not only did the counter lady take longer than expected to aknowledge myself standing patiently at the counter, but she didn't inform us that breakfast was over at 10 am, or even of the checkout time. At the time I had entered the lobby, she was helping a customer in the refreshment room or whatever it was. She poked her head out, but seeing that she was wearing street pants and a not-so-fresh-looking hotel issued golf shirt, I assumed she was house keeping of some sort, or room service at most. She didn't let me know she was on her way to the front; which I would have waited patiently knowing what was going on. I just wanted to go to sleep. Otherwise, for the money in a major city like it is (is it?) on a weekend, it was "just okay" because others were $10 and upwards to $80 more for just that one night; granted, they offered more as standard."
